Photography For Madison Public Theater For Madison Living Magazine Cover Photo
Editorial photographgraphy shoot of the lead actors for Madison Public Theater’s new play Kiss Me Kate for the cover and story in Madison Living Magazine. The play is directed by Jackie  Radcliff and is a romantic comedy of divorced couple acting in a play and rekindling old feelings. So it is an intriguing play within a play. We photographed the cast dressed in their costumes and doing various fun poses with their characters. I really adore the first picture because of the dichotomy she has a crazy wacky look and he can’t help but have a big cherub laugh. She looks mystified why he is laughing so much when she’s about to pop him one LOL. The stage curtain was originally a very dreary bland green. So I lit it up with nicer bright blue spotlight making it much more dramatic and pleasing to the eye. The RomCom play will be open to the public at the start of August at the Madison High School – my old alma mater. So plan to buy your tickets for the family.
The play will also open outdoors at METCÂ Museum of Early Trades and Crafts Summer Concert Series: Best of Broadway on July 22 with Tom Sellwood of The Sellwood Studio of Performing Arts. Tom has extensive career singing and acting for Broadway, West End and around the world and his studio gives private and group lessons singing and acting and summer music camps for kids. Check out this very entertaining facebook video of Sellwood Studio Summer Camp.
